I’m Stephanie Lewis-Smale, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Colorful Serenity Counseling. With over 14 years of experience working in child welfare, family court, and mental health, I provide a supportive and compassionate space for individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My approach is grounded in authenticity, connection, and practical strategies that help clients build insight, strengthen communication, and create meaningful change in their lives.

I provide therapy services to individuals, couples, and families throughout Phoenix, Arizona and virtually across the state. My work is focused on helping clients navigate anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and family dynamics in a supportive and collaborative space.
Many clients come to therapy feeling stuck in communication patterns, overwhelmed by stress or emotions, or unsure how to move forward in their relationships. Together, we work to slow things down, understand what’s driving those patterns, and build practical ways to create change.

I provide in-network therapy services through Alma and Mindful Therapy Group for Aetna, Carelon, Cigna (including EAP), Optum, UnitedHealthcare (including EAP), BCBS Arizona, and Anthem BCBS.
